Great place in the wine country

Pros: Cannot recommend highly enough. This is a wonderful B&B in the middle of the wine country. Great garden and views, superb rooms but most importantly the host is a wonderful man full of stories and tips.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Such a beautiful property , comfy bed and beautiful bathroom and views -would book again !

Beautiful guest house

Pros: We had an amazing one night stay at the Huguenot House, and would highly recommend. The hosts are very lovely and helpful, the property looks amazing and the room was beautiful, super clean and well maintained. We will come back.

Beautiful quiet place, that I will definitely recommend.

Pros: Outstanding value for money. We used it more as a base, and it is perfect for that, but we could have stayed there during the day as well. The staff is very attentive and very eager to help. The bed was outstanding, and we slept like babies. The garden is very beautiful and inviting to enjoy. The breakfast was tasty and big portions.

Cons: The fact that the pool was not ready was a bit of a problem, as my wife and I enjoy swimming. But I am sure that will be fixed soon.

Pros: Huguenot House is situated in a quiet, peaceful location surrounded by wonderful mountain views & perfectly maintained gardens. The suite was spacious, pristine & very tastefully decorated & fulfilled all our needs. Fluffy sparkling white towels, a well stocked coffee station & a lovely patio with a private garden to sit & enjoy a glass of wine & watch the sunset. The breakfasts were wonderful & all the staff made us feel very welcome. All round, a perfect place to unwind & enjoy what Franschhoek & the surrounding area has to offer.

Very quiet and comfortable.

Pros: It’s pet-friendly, which is rare in Franschhoek. Very quiet and large grounds to walk my dog.

Cons: Swimming pool not functioning.

Pleasant stay and very friendly staff.

Pros: Great location & Proximity. Very comfortable clean big bed and room. Loved the bathroom with the marble shower. It had everything I needed.

Cons: No proper cupboards for me to hang my work clothes. TV was old so I couldn’t watch Netflix etc. - kept asking me to update the software which I couldn’t get right. I gave up in the end.

A good find that doesn’t break the bank

Lovely place, very close to Franschhoek and great friendly team

Pros: Great experience with clean large bedroom, lovely team who checked us in, looked after our room and provided breakfast.

The people there make it special.
