Idyllic few days in simply stunning location
Pros: The location is simply wonderful - set on the fringe of Franschhoek in a beautiful wine estate, overlooked by a stunning landscape. The accommodation is genuinely old school with an historical feel, full of character, beautiful artefacts, all looked after by very warm and attentive staff. Expensive, but real quality

Thank you for such a special few days.
Pros: Everything was perfect - the room, the staff, the pool and the surroundings. Couldn’t recommend it more for a couple’s trip.

Perfection as always!
Pros: Second time here and just as brilliant as I remember. Grande Provence is my favourite vineyard in the winelands. It is absolutely beautiful. The grounds and rooms are perfection - I even had to check what pillows they used so I could buy the same! The staff are definitely a highlight - always so welcoming, helpful and kind. I had a glass of wine one evening at the restaurant and without me even having to ask, they brought me over some mosquito spray to put on myself! And thank you so much to Wellington and Jessie for making our hotel stay so lovely.
Cons: I loved everything!

Beautiful stay.
Pros: Beautiful place with excellent service and staff. Especially Wellington keep up the good work sir.
Cons: At first few hours the internet was down and couldn’t watch the TV as it is internet connected. I missed on a good game but overall, everything else was exceptional.

Staying at Grande Provence leaves us feeling special.
Pros: Everything. Fire place in the sitting room. The conservatory Close access to the Grande Provence Resturant and outside bar area The bedroom size and comforts.
Cons: The wall surrounding the raised deck next to the pool, should lowered for views over the vineyards and sunset.

Picturesque luxury. Ultimate comfort.
Pros: The venue is beautiful - tucked away in the mountains, with stunning scenery. The beds are ridiculously comfortable - possibly the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and it’s the little extra touches with every interaction that makes a visit to Grande Provence so memorable. The food at the restaurant is good, but the Bistro is a little gem - would highly recommend having lunch there, even if you aren’t staying on the property! Wine tasting is a very personal thing, but I also reckon that you will find a wine here to suit your palate 😉 Also, if you are able to make use of their mobile massage services, these are absolutely outstanding!
Cons: Minor thing - we stayed in the Loft Suite, which overall is fantastic, but the thatch roof isn’t soundproof, and as this is a working farm with other guests, it can be noisy - especially earlier in the day. But definitely don’t let this deter you - I would still highly recommend staying here!
