Best and poshest hotel to stay

Pros: It’s super nice … the best hotel I stayed in during my holiday . Staff was very kind and rooms are incredibly amazing. You are paying for what facility you get. If you are not restricted on budget the place is amazing to stay.

Just excellent.

Pros: We stayed in January and we had a fantastic time. The property is exceptional in every way. There were fires in the area and we had to leave early but will definitely return. Kirstie the manager was very helpful and couldn’t have done more.

Perfect stay in a unique tranquil and beautiful property with fantastic staff!

Pros: Wonderful and unique property with lovely staff. Our first stay here but we will be returning again. Kirstie was friendly and very helpful and we felt very welcome at the Kilima. Breakfast was good. Patricia and Nande were also great staff members. Thanks to them all for making our visit to the Kilima so lovely.

Pros: The room was a WOW! We stayed in the honeymoon suite, and we were blown away. It's spacious, the bed was super comfortable, the bath and bathroom felt like a spa, with his and hers space, a dressing table with a hairdryer, marble basins... and a walk in dressing area. We loved the balcony, overlooking the swimming pool. We loved the breakfast that offered great variety - the cooked breakfast was offered exactly to whatever we wanted. Kirstie, the lady in charge was so very accommodating, helpful, and made our stay feel extra special. The whole place oozed splendour, sophistication, and 5 star decor. It's one of the best experiences we've had! Thanks to all the staff - the beautiful place and experience will stay with us.... we will definitely come again

Warm and friendly guesthouse in Franschhoek

Pros: Extremely friendly and welcoming staff and Kristy and the team were adorable serving us a generous and varied breakfast .Very quiet neighbourhood and the house was very quiet. We were not rushed off the property even after check out . Nice pool with comfy beds .

Cons: For our personal taste the style of the guesthouse was a bit too cluttered and overwhelming .Our bedroom had so much stuff in it yet lacked a few essentials like good lighting in the bathroom over the mirror and hooks for bathrobes . The guesthouse was walkable to town but it was 15-20 minutes walk to the restaurant- a bit far at night . There was a bit of maintenance to do to rectify wear and tear ( cracked WC seat , old grouting and poor drainage in shower and peeling paintwork in some places ). This might seem picky but the guesthouse charges quite high prices so these points should be perfect .

Perfect in ever way possible !!

Pros: The staff were all so nice, Kirsty made us feel very welcome, we arrived later than expected to snacks, cheeses and a lovely bottle of fizz. The breakfast each morning was delicious and of very good quality, on a couple of occasions we went hiking early to avoid the heat and we were given a delicious breakfast box to take out with us. The location was perfect, extremely peaceful, but within walking distance to Franschocks restaurants shops etc. the pool was perfect temperature but also peaceful if you just wanted to relax on the comfortable loungers, The room was spacious and kept exceptionally clean. Kirsty, Patrica and the rest of the staff always greeted us with a smile. And couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a fantastic week in Franschock and hope to come back to this property.
