Pros: Stylvol en elke klein besonderheid is keurig aan gedink.

Cons: Ek kan nie iets sê waarvan ek nie gehou het nie.

Stay somewhere else but make sure you visit.

Pros: The gardens are beautiful. The staff are super friendly. It is a well oiled machine that deals with constant day visitors and hotel guests 24/7.

Cons: It's the victim of its own success. The rooms are tired, and are in need of a make over (grouting/ painting) but they are probably so full that they don't have time to do them. The guest pool is small with not enough seats for all the guests at one time. It was probably once a great size but then they expanded and expanded the accommodation. We ended up sitting by the pool near the spa, which needed to be cleaned. It is very expensive to stay here. There are major roadworks at the main entrance which have been ongoing for 2 years and are nowhere near finished. If you don't time your journey accordingly you can be sitting there for 20 mins, this makes visiting other vineyards or leaving the estate very frustrating.

Exceptional hospitality!

Pros: Our cottage was located in a very quiet area, and was very spacious and comfortable. The activities which we did (wine tour and olive tour) were well organised and fascinating. Staff were super friendly and helpful and every need was anticipated (Wellington boots for the rain, bicycles to cycle around and the golf cart to get to the main areas). The food was simple, fresh and very tasty.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

A highlight of our stay in South Africa. Two nights was definitely not enough! I managed to use the hot spa for a short

Pros: Fabulous accommodation and gardens. The garden tour was very interesting, we saw things that we’d never have discovered by ourselves. Gargantuan portions in the restaurant. We needed to leave early on the last day to get to the airport and we were given a packed breakfast which was a veritable feast. Only thing we would have preferred was not to have set menus. As a coeliac, I was very well catered for with gluten-free options

This hotel is the definition of “Unreasonable Hospitality” - you never want to leave!

Pros: We got the two bedroom cottage - it’s like having your own house. All the complimentary tours the hotel offers are amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is insane, fresh, delicious. There are three pools, incredible walks, chickens roaming around. Every day at 5 pm someone knocks on your door to offer you an amuse bouche and in the morning they re-stock your fresh fruit in the room from the orchard. We even had two days of rain and we had the best time.

Cons: Nothing. We can’t wait to come back. It’s by far our favorite hotel we’ve ever been to and we travel a lot.

Wonderful place, beautiful gardens and location. If you can sort the breafast chaos you would have my top score!

Pros: We had a lovely room, very private despite the large size of the complex. Would recommend cycling and running around the gardens and vines - beautiful! Mountain drive is wonderful and our guide Kobus was very good. Water Buffalo trip was super interesting. Angie in the restaurant was lovely too. Rosco’s wine tasting - super entertaining. Overall staff were very good.

Cons: Breakfast spread was excellent but too crowded and chaotic. It took 30-40 mins each morning to get a coffee (crazy)!! They should have 2 breakfast sites and put on more baristas!
