We felt right at home at Pontac, wish we could stay longer! Can't wait to be back!

Pros: Beautiful building and surroundings. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with lovely soap and shampoo provided. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Location is perfect to explore Paarl and surrounds. Breakfast was great, too!

Very Convenient. Location is fantastic. Proximity to everything is great

Pros: Location. Proximity to Paarl mountain, CBD, and the restaurant next door is ultra convenient. The rooms are beautiful. Staff are few but great!

Cons: They need new beds. I slept in a hole

Pros: Everything was fabulous except breakfast. Big room and big bathroom. Beds very comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

Perfectly located in a beautiful, old building.

Pros: It's a beautiful, old building; very spacious and comfortable.

Cons: The room was hot and the a/c wasn't able to cool it down enough. The breakfast setup was loud.

Warm and homey hotel

Pros: The hotel won me over in a day! Usually not one for historical buildings I found the hotel warm and homey. Rocky the cat made me feel right at home. The Cattle Baron next door took care of all one's dinner needs and the fillet was exceptional. The scones at breakfast were fantastic.

Cons: I did not like the dark dining area but could eat breakfast outside. I did not particularly enjoy carrying my luggage upstairs as there is no elevator.
