Cosy stay

Pros: Very nice place, conveniently located to visit Stellenbosch, Franschoek. It is really relaxing place to stay and feel the nature, farm and lovely animals seen from the terrace. The house and beds were comfortable. The staff was nice and check in and check out were smooth. There is on the territory restaurant Vuur, really recommend to check before and may be book a 5-course dinner there. Also, really recommend to try Honeybusch wine produced on the farm. Our children also loved this place.

Cons: Nothing really, only missed a dishwasher

We loved the beautiful view and wild-life while we sat on our verandah!

Pros: Not applicable but we had a lovely wine tasting in the beautiful setting of the tasting room.

Cons: It would have been nice to have some ceylon tea and proper coffee in the cottage.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful setting

Pros: Everything - perfect location where you can sit outside and watch the zebras, springbok etc! Spacious accommodation, on a beautiful wine estate. The views were incredible. The host is very friendly and helpful- and quick responses to messages which is always appreciated but not expected.

Cons: Nothing- really enjoyed our stay and would like to book again!

Pros: What a lovely experience we had, location, views and quality of wine outstanding. Cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Jo kept us well informed on checkin details, pity we didn't meet her.

The cottage is peaceful, private, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It offers exceptional value for money — in fact, I honestly can’t think of a better place to stay anywhere in the world at this price point. If you’re reading this review to decide whether to book — stop now and just book it. You won’t regret it.

A magical vineyard stay with wildlife on your doorstep and easy access to Stellenbosch—peaceful, scenic, and truly memor

Pros: I absolutely loved this stay. Waking up to see zebras, wildebeest, and other animals right outside the veranda was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The setting was spectacular—right in the heart of a vineyard, offering both tranquillity and beautiful views. The cottage itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you’d need for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine farms. It’s a peaceful escape that still keeps you close to everything.

Cons: The gas heater ran out and was replaced with another nearly empty cylinder, which unfortunately also ran out the next day. So we didn’t have heating for the last day or two, which was disappointing as it did get quite cold.
