Gorgeous place with gorgeous views and an awesome host.

Pros: The cottage was so beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed, including peace and quiet. Tania was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and accommodating. Can definitely recommend this beautiful farm stay. And the awesome doggos were just the cherry on top.

Waking mornings to chirping birds and the quiet of sun drenched fruit orchards ........ heavenly!!

Pros: We enjoyed 2 days (2 nights) of bliss in the self catering, well equiped 3 bedroomed Cottage situated on a working farm about 10mins drive outside Paarl. The location was excellent for exploring Paarl and the neighbouring towns & sights (Paarl Rock, Taal Museum, Nederburg Wine Estate etc.). Waking mornings to chirping birds and the quiet of sun drenched fruit orchards ........ heavenly!! Thank you Hartbeeskraal for a restful and memorable stay!!!

Lovely spot for a family or couples

Pros: Loved the patio and view! The location is great for getting into the wine lands and Cape Town and the beds are super comfortable and luxurious

Pros: This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to explore the Winelands. It sleeps 6 adults comfortably with bunk beds for 2 kids. The kitchen is very well equipped and the host provided toilet paper, ice, coffee and sugar and a small milk. There is also wood for braaing. The bedrooms are comfy and the table of the verandah is great for drinks and eating while looking out onto the farm. We loved it!

Cons: The outdoor shower is cold which is fine for summer but just note for winter

Pros: The original features of the farmhouse had been kept, but the kitchen had all modern appliances, even an airfryer. The view overlooking the farm from the stoep was so beautiful and peaceful.

Pros: We had a great stay! The location was ideal — conveniently close to Paarl and with easy access to the national roads, which made exploring the surrounding areas simple and stress-free. It was the perfect base for our weekend getaway. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a well-situated place to stay in the Winelands.
