A welcoming stay with a very kind host and strong potential

Pros: The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi worked perfectly, which we really appreciated. The lounge area is very spacious, and it was great to have access to the kitchen to prepare our meals. A special thank you to the owner, who was extremely friendly and even allowed a late checkout so we could shower after our MTB race, that flexibility meant a lot to us.

Cons: The guesthouse is clearly still in development. You can see that many improvements have been started with good intentions. The room would benefit from a softer bedside lamp instead of the very bright LED strip lighting in both the bedroom and bathroom. Signage at the entrance of the road could also be improved to make the property easier to find.

Lovely peaceful location with amazing views, with easy access to nearby towns.

Pros: We stayed in the self catering cottage, which was very spacious and air conditioned. The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and very comfortable. The property is in a quiet location with stunning Mountain View’s and has the advantage of being less than 10 minutes drive from nearby towns with excellent restaurants. There is also a pool and our hosts, Didier and Glenda, were amazing and treated us like members of their family. We would definitely go back and recommend it strongly to others.

Cons: We don’t have any negative points to raise.

Pros: Our stay on the farm in Paarl was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by Didier and Glenda, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home. The late afternoons spent relaxing around the pool, with the most incredible views of the surrounding mountains, were unforgettable and added something truly magical to our stay. The peaceful farm setting invites you to slow down and really take in the beauty of the surroundings. A special mention to the dogs, who added so much character and joy to our visit and made the experience feel even more personal and authentic. We would highly recommend this farm stay to anyone looking for a tranquil, welcoming escape with breathtaking views and genuine farm charm. We would love to return.

Great stay, Ask for the biryani

Pros: The room and bed was very comfortable. But more than an amazing night's sleep were the hosts, Didier and Glenda. Very welcoming and extremely friendly hosts. Had a great evening with them. Didier was also very responsive to a package left behind on departure. He made sure it got back to us in quick time. Great place, amazing hosts!
