Leeu House

A luxurious short break in a beautiful hotel. A real treat

Pros: I have never stayed anywhere like Leeu House before so this was a truly memorable experience. Everything was superb - we couldn’t fault the staff, service, accommodation, facilities etc. I have to compliment Gift in particular - his manner and customer service is exemplary.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

we had travelled to other areas before arriving and this was very different highlight of the trip

Pros: Breakfast was great, from the staff to the food and environment. The wine tasting is an excellent start to our trip and the wine advisor was interesting to listen to and helpful with our purchase. the room is large , I would suggest a cafetiere in the room would be brilliant although we managed with out. wea re already planning a return trip.

Cons: I have nothing that I did not like

Pros: immaculate gardens, stunning artwork, very friendly staff, great breakfasts, comfortable beds

An idyllic location with wonderful staff

Pros: The property is beautifully maintained, clean, especially the gardens. We were made to feel particularly welcome by the warm members of staff from reception, bar, restaurant and pool service. They were incredibly hospitable and kind with us, and thank them for our stay! The food at the restaurant is AMAZING, especially the all-day menu. The property is simply gorgeous, and an excellent location on a lovely street. Feels very safe too.

Cons: These are just very minor observations: the doors and some floor/wall patches in room could be more well-kept, the door locking system is a bit old, but I am sure it can be addressed during refurbishments.

Pros: Impeccable with a lovely relaxed feel. All the staff are super friendly and you genuinely feel they want to make your stay special. Must make a special call out for Marius who in his very understated way anticipated our needs to perfection and was so helpful in making our stay at Leeu House special. We shall be returning soon !

Cons: Zero.

If you want to stay in Franschhoek, This is by the best to stay at.

Pros: The Location was fantastic, Staff very helpful, Lovely rooms and facilities. The food was fantastic.
