Outstanding hotel and staff - truly unique experience!

Pros: Outstanding hotel and staff - who make you feel very welcome and special! The rooms are very stylish and spacious. Large heated pool. Beautiful view over the vineyard. Wine tasting was excellent too. Mont Rochelle offers a truly unique experience!

Highly recommended.

Pros: Stayed in The Manor House which has space for 10/12 and excellent staff . For 5 couples or a two/three family group or special occasion I highly recommend this choice. The hotel itself is a top class boutique with epic views

Cons: Very little - most of the staff are excellent. But there are one of two less engaged choices and I think there is room for a stronger team culture with a more universal team buy-in

Fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel

Pros: Amazing location looking out over the valley and a short trip into town. Beautiful grounds and fantastic rooms. Would definitely stay again

Cons: Nothing really. The only exception is that the food at their main restaurant, Miko, isn’t very good and falls well below the standard of similar restaurants in Franschhoek. As this is a standalone restaurant rather than an integral part of the hotel I still felt 10/10 was fair

Heaven

Pros: Stunning location, spectacular scenery and an oasis of calm and tranquiiity. Had the feeling of an English country cottage but staying in the Pinotage suite with its exposed beams and thatched roof, it also felt like an African lodge.

Fantastic - can't wait to come back

Pros: We had a fantastic time at Mont Rochelle! Perfect location and the attention to details throughout was amazing! Our room was fabulous - impeccably clean. The staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable - truly the best service, I think I have ever experienced - done in a friendly and unobtrusive way. We loved everything about our stay and hope to be back again.
