Steenbok farm cottages -Mongoose cottage

Lovely place.

Pros: A Lovely place, quiet with tame springbuck roaming around. We enjoyed the hot tub and braai area.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Had a great time, not many more peaceful places to be than on the quiet veranda watching the sunset

Pros: Beautiful property and maintained to a very high standard. Very helpful hosts, couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you very much and we will definitely be back 🙏

Serenity with a little wild influence

Pros: Easy check in and check out The quiet of the surrounds. The nature - zebra and deer Couldn't hear the neighbours Beautiful mountain views

Cons: The bumpy road - small car didn't like it but it was a rental so they can go anywhere we all know that :-)

Great stay and very relaxing

Pros: Great place, peace and quiet. Well equipped and comfortable. Overall very good with some nice touches added and a potjie pot that very little places supply.

Cons: Noises through the night on the roof of critters. Few kitchen essentials missing. Bathrooms needs some attention.

Couples get away

Pros: Its very peaceful, lovely cottages, liked the farm feeling and seeing the animals in the morning. Loved the hottub. The bottle of wine was a great idea.

Cons: I think you should warn guest about the bad road. One of our cars couldn’t get to the cottage as the road is really bad and full of rocks so we had to go back home to take the bakkie instead. But other than the road was everything else perfect

My stay was wonderful, with stunning views and comfortable accommodations.

Pros: The views were absolutely spectacular, particularly during sunset. The surrounding wildlife was impressive; I spotted zebras, springbok, and a variety of birds. The accommodation itself was modern and impeccably clean, equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

Cons: I didn’t find much to dislike during my stay, but I did notice that the shower pressure in the main bedroom’s ensuite bathroom was a bit low. This made it challenging for someone with long hair, as it took longer to rinse out shampoo.

Absoluut stunning!

Pros: Stunning location, goed ingerig en cozy veral in die winter weer wat ons het. Absoluut beste familie naweek weg. Mooiste views en die huis is pragtig en baie gerieflik. Sal dit verseker voorstel aan al my vriende en familie.

Cons: Die bad na die huis is bietjie sleg, maar neem natuurlik die slegte weer en reen in ag.

Beautiful escape in nature

Pros: The location, it's hidden and in nature. Zebras and springboks working in front of your cottage is everything. The bottle of wine and honey as a gift on arrival amazing!

Cons: I love everything

Idyllic winter getaway

Pros: Location was great. Unobstructed views. Privacy. Spacious. Well equipped. Great entertainment area with the hot-tub and braai.
