Wonderful stay at Berghuis
Pros: Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. Breathtaking views, perfectly manicured gardens, comfortable and clean rooms. Berghuis had everything we needed for our family weekend away. The hosts were fantastic, I highly recommend this property and hope to be back one day.

Extraordinary
Pros: I would like to say that the owners were amazing, always getting back to me ASAP. The staff who did arrive to help us with certain things were also super efficient. May I say the property is just out of this world! I absolutely loved it. The pool, the mountain views, the sunsets, the fireplaces, and the amount of wood they give you. I made a lot of Braai (BBQ) and fires, and didn’t put a dent in it. The Jacuzzi was fantastic; I made a fire to heat it. Very comfortable accommodation. Would love to return. Had everything I could need. Thanks again 🇿🇦❤️

Best view & spacious home
Pros: I liked: 3 full bathrooms, fireplaces even one in downstairs bedroom, the appliances in immaculate condition Pizza oven Jacuzzi The amount of wood is more than enough. As we love making fire and brought our own wood and it wasn't even necessary. Coffee machine was so awesome. Bed warmers were soothing. Views were what you paid for. The little touches were everything! Easy check in. Owners have everything in place so no need to bother them they've been great.
Cons: Nothing at all. Maybe more fumigation for insects just saw a nest at the back door but the property is in the middle of nature so did expect that.

Magic in the mountains!
Pros: More than 10/10. This place is exeptional. Joubert and Thalita has created a place that somehow makes you feel like you are in a boutique hotel, but at home as well. Carefully selected amenities, beautiful artsy touches, equipped with more than you even think you need, exceptionally clean and super comfortable. Rolling views from every single window! The hot tub, fireplaces, blankies and pizza oven made for a cozy winter stay. We had a great experience from the get-go with clear communication from the hosts and a smooth no hassle check in. We thouroughly enjoyed the weekend and would recommend a stay at Berghuis to anyone! We hope to be back soon!

Amazing stay with lots to do at property and around the area! You will definitely see us again!
Pros: The interior and facilities of the property was amazing! The nature around the property is just exquisite and quick access to nice trails and wine farms. The property is also very well equipped.

Pros: The views were exceptional, surroundings were tranquil, had the best nights rest. The property had all the facilities we needed and more. We forgot to purchase ice, however the property had an ice machine which made it so convenient sparing us a trip to town. I must be honest, one of the best trips so far.
Cons: There is nothing really to fault, the only thing that I can suggest is getting a full length mirror in one of the rooms perhaps as we were a group of ladies, so we couldn't check our outfits at full length, however this is minor compared to everything else which was perfect.

Pros: Location and scenery absolutely breathtaking,Easy to locate if you use the instructions given by the host,the house itself has 4 spacious bedrooms one of them with two single beds for kids. 2 of the main bedroom each have a bathroom on suite with an additional bathrooms for remaining guests. The kitchen is equipped with the latest appliances and everything is well laid out to use and find, a fully stocked spice cabinet and wood for each outdoor use from hot tub to the wood fire pizza and the main braai area. Our host where always ahead with communication and we were fortunate to be afford early check in to this beautiful place. We received the most thoughtful welcome gift and every piece of art and outdoor garden was selected with an eye for art. My final thoughts this will be a go to destination,if you want to get away from all noise,buzz and enjoy nature this property reached my top 3 destination.
Cons: Nothing this is a 15/10 stay, highly recommend.

Pros: We really enjoyed our time at the house and will definitely look at going back in the future. We appreciate the finer details and efforts in making this a great experience (i.e pizza oven, ensuring there is sufficient wood and the welcome gift to name a few). The house was perfect and customer service was definitely 10/10.
