Weekend stay

Beautiful mountain cabin with panoramic views.

Pros: Wonderful cabin with beautiful views. Gas stove inside and brilliant gas braai outside so there were good cooking options. We had plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Wonderful open plan lounge and dining area for sitting together. Responsive, helpful host.

Cons: It is very clearly stated in the accommodation info that the property is reliant on solar power. We were unlucky to be staying over a cloudy and rainy weekend, so mostly we didn't have electricity - which we expected. However, various things would beep because of intermittent power supply (fridge, geyser set up) and it would be nice if the alarms on these could be switched off.

An amazing peaceful weekend in the area

Pros: Everything about the property was great, off grid, the area is beautiful, amazing views. A great place to just relax.

Spectacular mountain view cabin

Pros: The cabin had beautiful views across the valley, it was the highlight of our stay to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the sunset, truly spectacular. The cabin was modern, spacious and comfortable, it had all the amenities and more. It was peaceful and the location is not too far from Wolseley if you need to stock up on supplies. Check-in was also effortless with easy instructions. Highly recommended, next time I'm bringing my furry children with us🙂

Cons: Road leading up to the cabin is very steep, but we were warned about driving at night.
