The views and tranquillity alongside the beautiful home made it the best start to our stay in South Africa.

Pros: Perfect location in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the tranquil location, yet not too far to travel into town and to the many vineyards and restaurants.

Relaxation and tranquility.

Pros: We absolutely loved our time here. It is such a tranquil place surrounded by orchards and vineyards and mountains. We loved early mornings on the deck watching the swallows and listening to the breeze in the willow trees. The house is huge, with lots of areas to sit and relax. A very social kitchen area, with a secondary kitchen for prep/cleaning up. When we were there, there were no flies, mosquitoes or ants, making even more relaxing. We eat out most of the time in many of the wonderful wineries, all only a very short drive away. We also hiked in the Mont Rochelle National Park with incredible views over the Franschhoek valley. We REALLY hope we will return one day…

Pros: Our stay at De Luc Farmhouse was Perfect! The home was beautiful and the views were sensational. A lovely secluded pool and very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had very clear and warm welcoming guidance from our Host through WhatsApp ahead and during our stay. We enjoyed dining in some of the many restaurants situated close by. A perfect location and property to end our South African adventure.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect for us.

Pros: View was amazing over the vineyards and privacy. House is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Very luxurious!! A bathroom for each bedroom. Private pool was fab too.

Spectacular Cape Winelands country retreat.

Pros: Tamlin is a fantastic host, super communicative and efficient. We needed a few items for my nine-month old daughter which Tamlin swiftly organised as well as accommodating a few extra requirements during check in. The property is very spacious particularly the living room with ample facilities. The location is wonderful and very tranquil set against the vineyards and farm orchard with spectacular scenery.

Cons: No faults.
