Tulbagh Mountain Cabin

Pros: We had a fantastic time at the Mountain Cabin. The location is indescribably beautiful, and the house — together with the property — is spacious and expansive. The private pool was, of course, the highlight. Deon is a wonderful host, always reachable and immediately taking care of any requests or concerns. The only small suggestion for improvement would be to add a mosquito net above the bed — the mosquitoes are everywhere. We will definitely be back.

A memorable stay in the most amazing secluded cabin

Pros: Amazing location, so peaceful. We loved the cabin it was just perfect and beyond our expectations.It was so special and to see zebra, springbok and many other animals and birds while sitting on the balcony was amazing.

Lovely little Escape

Pros: The entire cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location is private enough without being too isolated, we were also greeted every day by the wildlife that roams freely throughout the reserve, you can expect to see Zebra's, Springbok, Mongoose etc. quite close to were you are staying.

Pros: We absolutely loved our short stay - from the beautiful house and all the lovely relax areas from the fact that our dog could join us. The beds where super comfortable and the house was clean. We also found that they left a bag with some lovely treats that was ver kind and thoughtful detail. In the evening we even had the zebras visit us which made the experience even better. We will definitely visit again.

Pros: Loved Tulbavh Mountain cottage. Wonderful and relaxing . Deon and Ellie very friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience. Will go back for more. Watching the animals from the cabin was awesome with magnificent views

Pros: We had such a lovely stay. My kids swam in the Pool and while I kept an eye on them, I watched the springbok grazing across the river. So private, yet not alone. The perfect escape.

Really great, given that it is winter and we could not fully enjoy all the amenities

Cons: The densification of cottages along the valley has detracted from the remote feeling it had before.

The cabin is a haven , a place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and connect withnature

Pros: The Mountain cabin nestles into the forest , the wooden exterior blending seamlessly into the surroundings . A winding dirt path leads to the door adorned with a lantern and a welcoming mat .Inside, the cabin's rustic charm is evident in its exposed beams,fireplace,plush furnishings and large window frames that expose breathtaking views of mountains and forest including gazzells running around and Zebras parading along the river . As night falls , the stars , the stars twinkle above and the sounds of nature lull you into a peaceful slumber . A perfect start to Winter .
