Pros: The Proteus Beach House was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful home, Splendid location -on the ocean with views to die for. From the spoils which we received upon arrival, to the all round welcoming atmosphere and hospitality from the owners. The hosts really pulled out all the stops to make us feel special on this birthday weekend! 5 Stars +++

Pros: Fantastic welcome - with superb hospitality. It felt like visiting family and we were surprised by the extra food prepared for us, the lovely set up and the great display of everything. it felt so special.

Hospitality par Excellence!

Pros: The Location setting was more than perfect. The treats and eats and abundance of spoils we received made us feel exceptionally special. Hosts Piet and Petro are the kindest people I know, they made us feel like family. It's our 2nd visit and definitely not the last!

Cons: that we had to leave so soon.

Our expectations were exceeded in all aspects

Pros: Upon arrival we were met by the hosts and given a quick tour of the facilities. Furthermore, we were served a lovely fruit, nuts and cheese platter, with a bottle of Champaigne on the house.

Peace and quiet

Pros: The uninterrupted views, with the sound and smell of the ocean. Piet and Petro’s warm welcome and their hospitality! The house is very well equipped with everything that you could possibly need. If you want to disconnect, relax and just enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle, then this place is perfect.

Fabulous ocean views

Pros: The location, views and peace are the standout features of this property. We wanted a quiet spot to relax by the ocean. This house delivered that and more. The hosts are very friendly. The directions were excellent. If you want a quiet relaxing place to stay this is it. Oh, and we didn't see any baboons!

Pros: Loved the proximity to the sea, beautiful views, and lovely kind hosts which were very informative. The pool was a great plus in the heat. Loved the homely decor.
