Great long weekend at Bettys Bay, close to the beach in a beautiful upmarket home.

Pros: Everything … probably one of the best I have stayed in. Bedrooms all great, bathrooms out of a magazine, kitchen with all you might need. Great indoor braai as well.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The accommodation was lovely and had such a warm, welcoming feel. The craftsmanship and workmanship by Herbert are impressive — you can really see the care and attention to detail throughout the house. The holiday home is also very well equipped with everything you need, which made our stay easy and comfortable. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway.

Best family getaway yet!

Pros: Tranquil and peaceful location. House was so comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids and the beach was a short walk away. Our host was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We wanted a relaxing family getaway an hour from Cape Town and we got exactly what we needed.

Pros: Our host was really friendly, generous and kind, taking time to show us around on arrival and departure. The location is quiet and peaceful in a beautiful natural garden setting very close to Silversands Beach. The home is well equipped and carefully planned with a spacious, very well equipped lounge/kitchen area and a braai room / second lounge with high glass walls which makes you feel like you are sitting right in the wooded garden. The deck overlooking the garden was great for late afteroon and early mornings. Two very generous bedrooms inside and a large self contained flatlet which is reached across the lovely wooden deck. Bathrooms were really beautiful and brand new. The outside shower was really special.

Cons: Honestly could not have been happier with our stay. Herbert was the perfect host and every need of ours was met in his beautiful home.
