Pros: We had a lovely two night stay here on our way up the Garden Route. The property is in a brilliant location ~5 minutes walk to the coast path and <10 minutes walk to the tidal pool for a swim. Super close to the bars and restaurants too. We loved the pool area and sun loungers, and a big braai area (though we didn't use this). Bedrooms are bright and airy too.

Cons: Nothing to say here - fair price and great location.

We had a lovely stay and I will definitely recommend this place and use it again - excellent value.

Pros: The location was perfect - close to the town so that we could walk to all the shops and restaurants but far enough that it was quiet. The pool was lovely and the fact that it was heated was an unexpected bonus. The house was really well equipped, with enough plates, cups and everything you might need to cook - the air fryer was a pleasant surprise since we use it all the time at home too. The cleaner was pleasant and helpful and the place was well cleaned and maintained.

Pros: We booked Quainton Cottages literally the day before, needing to vacate our previous location urgently due to bush fires. We were so lucky to find Quainton Cottages available, a little gem. The place offered every comfort and the icing on the cake for my husband was a heated pool. Wish we had longer to explore more, found some amazing little sandy coves where you could swim and surf.

Pros: The location was wonderful. A nice short walk to town. Property was perfect for our family of two adults two kids (11, 9). The neighbour helped with the check in, and also gifted a bottle of wine and chocolates to apologise for the plumbers working downstairs when we arrived.

Cons: There was a significant plumbing issue prior to our arrival (unavoidable). However, it would have been nice, and appropriate, that that information was shared ao we could have timed our arrival accordingly. Plumbers cutting a large hole in the wall for 4 hours was not the greatest start.

Pros: Wow the place was sooo super cool we really enjoyed our stay I don't have any regrets it will be my home from now on.when ever I visit Hermanus that's my first option ❤️❤️❤️we loved it.and the person who's taking care of the house she's so friendly and nice to the guests I give her 10/10❤️❤️🙌🙌
