The GOAT shed

Pros: The Location of the property is amazing. It is a farm stay setting in the centre of town. The accommodation is basic, but sufficient and very clean. This was everything we expected.

Memorable

Pros: Very close to all the attractive locations. Birds will wake you up. Peaceful nights.

Peaceful out in nature, yet close to everything

Pros: Nice and quiet, no TV nobody to bother you or make loud noises. Easy excess and so close to Laborie wine estate, a short walk of 5 minutes. The dishwasher was an added bonus since there is no cleaning service

Cons: Not enough space in the bathroom to put your stuff, a small table would have been nice & cleaning of the house would be a bonus

Pros: The Location was superb. Close to everything and right next to beautiful Laborie Wine estate. Perfect for bringing and storing bikes too. Peaceful Friendly host Gorgeous horses!

A great place to stay

Pros: The Goat shed is wonderfully situated close to all the attractions and amenities. The cottage is fully equipped and very comfortable. I can highly recommend it.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Pros: Amazing stay. You turn off the road and it feels like you're miles away from town even though the superspar and main road is literally 5 minutes away for anything you might have forgotten. You somehow can't hear the traffic either. Just bird song and peace. Coffee machine is much appreciated when you have a toddler. Beds were very comfortable and linen is super crisp and clean. I loved the decor but also appreciated that there's not too much a two year old can try break. The two horses also kept the toddler entertained. For families: Laborie has a play area. Knus karoo kombuis which is fairly close also has a lovely play area for breakfast and lunch. There's a little gate to Laborie (which is just gorgeous) and a very nice walk. Malane is super nice, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed it. Thank you!

Charming cottage in wine country

Pros: Very charming cottage on a functioning farm in the country side. Beautiful sceneries. The house was fully equiped and beds + pillows very comfortable. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

Cons: Indications to get to the house are lacking so make sure to get in touch with the host for better explanations!

Pros: Well equipped kitchen with spacious bedrooms and pretty garden. The host is very friendly and accommodating. The couch in the lounge is very low and it is unfortunate that there is so many flies. If that can be fixed it would be a perfect stay.

The Goat Shed

Pros: Lovely accommodation. Well equipped, roomy and attractive. Very nice well looked after enclosed garden with both sunny and shady areas. Owner and staff very pleasant and welcoming.. Property is on the edge of a vineyard with its own eateries and wine tasting 5 minutes walk away. Big supermarket 5 minutes drive. Horses, a cat and a great dane about the place are enhancements. The owner even invited us to use her own small swimming pool at the main house. We loved it, thank you.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

We will be back again!!!

Pros: We loved everything, tranquility, hospitality, safety, and more...it was all round great, perfect family getaway for us. Stunning views, beautiful animals...pictures honestly, doesn't do it justice. It's so beautiful.
