Centre-Ville Guest House

Pros: Excellent hospitality skills from the person who greeted us and showed us our room. Brilliant breakfast. Our room had everything we needed. Excellent location in the middle of town yet it was still quiet.

Lovely stay in central Franschhoek.

Pros: Beautiful period building with obvious efforts applied to ambience throughout. All areas have been thought through. Location is very convenient for all the attributes of Franschhoek and off road free parking is available. Breakfast was replete in variety, quantity and quality. Staff friendliness and diligence were excellent.

Cons: Hot water supply needs some attention (cold to tepid to cold!) and a little investment in new - matching - furniture would pay dividends.

Wonderful place to stay in Franschhook

Pros: Everything!! The owner, Elsa Naude, as well as all the staff, especially the manager (we can't remember his name...) in Centre - Ville Guest House were wonderful and did their best to make us welcome, happy and satisfied. There was a bottle of white wine in the fridge and sherry carafe with glasses on a small table. Our bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was served outside and was excellent in all respects

Perfect 1 night stay in Franschoek

Pros: Great location, very kind and helpful staff, lovely rooms and a delicious breakfast

Warm atmosphere, helpful, professional.

Pros: The owner Elsa and the manager Morné created a very warm and comitted atmosphere supported by the other friendly staff members. The breakfast was served and very good. They were extremly helpful. We had a lot of fun.

Another wonderful stay

Pros: This was our third stay at this lovely property - our last one was just over 2 years ago; Elsa and staff remembered us and welcomed us warmly. Centre-Ville, as the name suggests, is perfectly situated in Frranschoek within easy walking distance of the main road, cafes, and restaurants.

A fantastic stay in a very welcoming guest house.

Pros: The staff in this traditionally decorated and fitted guest house were fantastic, couldn’t do enough for you. The location was perfect just one street back from central road. The owners are lovely and take an interest in all their guests. The breakfast was fabulous, great choice, presented beautifully and cooked perfectly to order. A lovely stay and would love to return someday.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: We have stayed here before and our second visit did not disappoint.Centre-Villle is in a perfect location for all the shops, restaurants and bars of Franschhoek but located in a quiet side-road. The staff are exceptional, especially the lovely Morne, and it is great to have the owners around too. The decor is quirky and original but very comfortable with all modern conveniences. Fabulous, elegantly appointed breakfasts in the pool courtyard.

Cons: Tried hard to think of something but couldn't!

Affordable, Comfortable, friendly stay in the Center of Franschhoek with all you need offered.

Pros: The location is ideal in the center of town, exactly where you want to be to explore all that Franschhoek has to offer. The property has a gorgeous, internal courtyard and pool area where breakfast is offered under the gorgeous shade of overhanging trees. Staff are just fabulous and Elsa is so wonderful and accommodating.

Cons: not a thing.
