Exceptional accommodation

Pros: Everything from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out was brilliant. The house is magnificient, the rooms are really big, clean and have everything and more than you need. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and I cannot put in to words at how exceptional ALL the staff are. I would HIGHLY recommend this accommodation and we will definitely be back.

Cons: I have absolutely nothing to say here.

Fabulous place, host and value for money in Franschhoek

Pros: Amanda was an amazing knowledgable host and the rest of the staff were also friendly and could not do enough for you. Superb breakfast (everyone mentions the omelette -it did not disappoint) . Loved the honesty box for wine/beer etc and extras like fruit and biscuits.

Cons: 1 of us is a little picky (not me) on sleeping so a selection of pillows may enhance some people's stay ...... but loved it without !!!

Great accommodation, well located with amazing staff!

Pros: Stayed 3 nights: everything was spot on from the moment we arrived & Amanda showed us around. With just five bedrooms, it felt just like a home from home. Located 1km from the main road, (it was very walkable for us & Ubers easy to get for the return) meant it was very peaceful with wonderful views to the hillsides. Enjoyed our freshly prepared (by Judy) breakfasts on the portico-ed veranda each morning, especially her freshly baked muffins! At the end of our wine visits it was particularly nice to cool off & relax around the pool. Thank you Amanda & your very special team for making our first visit to Franschhoek so memorable!

Cons: Hard to improve on, what was for us, the perfect stay.

Pros: Warmly Welcomed by Judy and Amand. Beautiful garden and swimming pool overlooking the mountains.. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The breakfast were out of the world. Judy has.been working at Maison for 15 years and makes the best omelets I've ever had. Very kind and accommodating by everyone. Will definitely be back. Thank you Jessica

Would highly recommend!

Pros: Convenient location, a 15min stroll into town or short uber drive. Lovely pool out front with comfy deck chairs. Rooms are very comfy, clean and spacious with high quality furnishings and a great shower! Breakfast is delicious and served outside on the patio on sunny days. Amanda, the guest house manager is wonderful and will look after you perfectly!

Absolutely lovely stay at Maison D’Ail

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, the guesthouse was beautiful and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating.

Pros: Everything, the house is beautiful, the standard of furnishings and comfort make for a lovely stay. Staff are very professional but friendly.

Cons: Slight downside was distance from main part of the town but we had a car so not a real issue.
