Great stay!

Pros: Excellent guesthouse in the middle of the winelands. Great views, breakfast, gardens etc. Linda did everything to make our stay a memorable one (and with success)

Cons: The rooms that we had have no airco. Not really an issue during our stay (relatif cold wheather and we had a downstairs room). Some of the rooms are upstairs though (our kids had one of those) and it can be warm there.

beautiful place and super friendly staff

Pros: We had an absolutely amazing stay at Gemoedsrus Farm! The staff here is beyond kind and friendly – they made us feel so welcome and really went out of their way to make everything perfect. The location is stunning, with beautiful views all around that you just don’t want to leave. The rooms and facilities are spotless and super comfortable, and the food is delicious – fresh, well-prepared, and just perfect after a day of exploring. Everything about this place just screams care and attention, and it’s clear the team genuinely loves what they do. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone wanting a relaxing and memorable stay!

Cons: there was nothing we did not like. really nothing :-)

Stunning location

Pros: Stunning location. Breakfast exceptional. The host and staff were very helpful. Would definitely return.

Cons: The only thing I would point out is the 5 am dawn chorus from the farmyard animals. I'm a country person, so not really a problem for me, but something to be aware of.

Pros: The location is perfect and beautiful with great views, the best breakfast and super clean

Just lovely without any cons

Pros: We love the beautiful villa and garden as well as Linda’s exceptional hospitality. The whole family enjoyed the extraordinary breakfast and Linda’s staff is as well very, very friendly. Location is very suitable to explore the winelands. We have been here the 2nd time, would always come back and always recommend to friends who are looking for an accommodation in the winelands.

As beautiful (if not better) than a stay in Tuscany or Napa Valley!

Pros: Amazing breakfast, pool was sooooo welcome. Old world charm and very large spacious rooms.

Cons: I didn't like not haveing a separate toilet with a door

Pros: Our host Linda and her staff was absolute amazing. So warm and positive, really made us feel at home for our 3 nights there. The scenery and the farm itself is very beautiful. Delicious breakfast with different options too

Cons: The bedooms were quite warm during the night, I'd wish for either AC or better/more fans

Pros: The property is beautiful, we loved the garden, the pool and the location a lot. The staff was super friendly and Linda did everything to make sure we were having a wonderful time.

Unique

Pros: The personal contact and talk with the owner after two years. A phantastic host preparing an extraodinary breakfast for us. Magnificent view to the mountains Linda place seems like a castle Tempur matrasse you sleep like a marmote

Pros: Incredible views of the Stellenbosch vineyards. Lovely and helpful staff and owner. Gardens and pool were beautiful. Great breakfast
