The Cottage was very peaceful, the time under the trees was well spend.

Pros: The accommodation was great, hot tub wonderful and peaceful on this working farm, but to be able to pick our own yellow cling peaches, figs and pears, was the highlight. Currently the fruit are in season, therefore fruit picking is over weekends. Then they sell the best Carrot cake and baked cheese cake, done by Madri, our host.

10/10 worth it

Pros: Really beautiful place. The hosts are beyond exceptional and the cottage is really comfy. 100% recommend.

Cons: This cottage is in the garden next to the family house so noise from that house is something to consider.

Amazing Experience

Pros: Hoogwater is situated on a huge farm, so we were able to go for hikes on the farm and walk through peaches plantations. There is also a beautiful dam on the farm, which you can hike to and have picnic at. Madri, who was our contact person was so helpful, providing all the information we needed. Check in and check out was so simple. The actual cottage was so lovely. Each cottage has it's own yard space, which you have to yourself, giving you full privacy. Everything was so clean, and the decor was beautiful too. There's also a wood fire hot tub for your cottage, which was so amazing. I honestly can not wait to go back.

Cons: The only thing I could state was that there isn't a TV, however, we never needed one because we spent our day out doors exploring and in the hot tub
