We cannot wait to return! Franschoek has a magical quality and the staff at the Pink Door have an infectious enthusiasm

Pros: We loved the relaxed feel of the place and that nothing was too much trouble. So many luxurious touches everywhere from the toiletries in the bathrooms to the most comfortable beds!! Being served cocktails on the veranda by the pool was the best welcome we could have had and the gardens are really impressive. The location is perfect being so close to the Main Street while still feeling secluded with a gorgeous view of the mountains. It was an easy stroll to find a restaurant for dinner and such a delight to have breakfast prepared in the morning at whatever time suited us before wandering into town to explore the shops.

Cons: We could not fault this property - they have thought of absolutely everything!!

Exceptional!!!

Pros: What an amazing place! So beautiful, so luxurious, so utterly special. Everything was perfect and we loved every minute. Easy walk to all the restaurants and shops and galleries. Gorgeous buffet breakfast each morning - so delicious. We planned to eat out all meals but landed up staying home one night just because we all so badly wanted to make our own pizza's and top them with freshly picked greens from the herb garden whilst drinking wine at the outdoor table under the olive trees - bucket list stuff! Enormous, comfy beds in light and airy rooms. Stunning bathrooms with great amenities. The swimming pool - heaven!!! Last but not least - thank you to the villa manager - Bernadine - for being so welcoming and helpful - we had one of the most special little getaway's ever. Pink Door - we will be back!!

Pros: I absolutely loved my stay at this villa in Franschhoek! The location is perfect—just a 1-minute walk to Main Street and the grocery store, yet still peaceful and private. The villa itself is beautifully designed with a well-equipped kitchen including SMEG appliances and a beautiful pink Aga oven, perfect for anyone who enjoys cooking. The staff were excellent, incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure everything was just right. Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of delicious options. The outdoor space is wonderful, with a pool, pizza oven, and a lovely vegetable garden—such a great touch. I made a few personalized requests, and they went above and beyond. I also really appreciated the private office space, which was perfect for getting some work done. Overall, a truly comfortable and luxurious stay. My new go to accommodation when in Franschhoek.

Gorgeous Private Villa in Beautiful Town

Pros: Franschhoek is a simply stunning place, and the Pink Door is perfectly located in the center of the town, within easy walking distance of the main area with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. The house was also kept impeccably clean, and well decorated - every room was light and airy, never feeling stuffy. The house has its own herb garden, something that is unique across almost any of my previous stays and really added to the braai we did. All the indoor appliances were clean and modern, with great SMEG appliances and an Aga. The outdoor pool, private to the villa, is also a lovely touch that I can imagine any family would appreciate. And beyond all this, the staff were so welcoming and lovely.

Cons: Nothing! The place was simply exceptional.
