The Salene Hotel & Apartments

Sam and the other staff were absolutely amazing.

Pros: The actual setting of the hotel and having breakfast in the terrace outside overlooking the vineyards.

Pros: The cottage was quite basic, but still lovely and had everything needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. It was very quiet, absolutely stunning views, nice pool as well. Would visit again!

Pleasant stay.

Pros: Good shower and large bathroom. Nice view from the balcony. Breakfast was good and staff pleasant and helpful. The terrace seating area is very comfortable with plenty of seating.

Cons: The bathroom door needs some easing oil as it is noisy when opened/closed. The pillows are too big for the bed. The electrical points in the bedside units are difficult to get to - you have to get on your knees to plug anything in. A point is also required above the table top to charge laptops etc.

Pros: Lovely location and fantastic staff. Sam and Lisa looked after us very well organising trips and suggesting restaurants. Fabulous location in Stellenbosch.

Pros: This hotel is fantastic. Beautifully decorated and furnished. The location is good with fantastic views. Food (breakfast) offered a good variety and the one time we had dinner, it was excellent. The staff were professional and friendly. With a big shout out to Sam, Calvin, Emanuel and Happy, who assisted us in every request. Thoroughly recommend staying here if you are planning in staying in Stellenbosch.

Came for the view, enjoyed way more than that

Pros: Amazing view, nice little pool, super friendly and helpful staff, breakfast and the lunch at the dinner were very good too.

Cons: Rooms could have been bigger and while the breakfast was good, the selection could have been wider. But only miner things to consider.

Lovely & relaxing with more than adequate facilities

Pros: Location slightly too far from town however the scenery was stunning & a very quiet calming setting.

Cons: Larger mugs for tea & coffee

From checkin to checkout was really seamless and staff are next level friendly.

Pros: We had an exceptional stay. We will definitely book in the near future.
