We loved our short stay at this adorable cottage in a quiet street close to Grotto Beach, Hermanus.

Pros: Pacem cottage is equipped with all that you need and more for a relaxing break not far from Grotto Beach, Hermanus. Everything was so neat, clean and well-planned I would recommend it anytime. Pacem Cottage is situated next to the owner’s own home in a quiet street but it is possible to walk to the beach and Dutchie’s Restaurant. There are stunning views of the mountains and the ocean from the upstairs windows and the deck. The bedrooms are both located on the ground floor and were cool even during the hottest time of day. The two bedrooms are very spacious with plenty of windows and cupboard space. The one has a shower in the en-suite bathroom, and the other a large oval bath for relaxing soaks. The owner who met us on arrival, gave us plenty of information on access to the property and on things to do in the area. His help was invaluable when we ran into vehicle trouble on a public holiday. We would love to return and stay a little longer at this lovely cottage!

Pros: Location was beautiful and peaceful. Amazing mountain view and close to hiking trails and the beach. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Despite an issue in the area, the host went out of their way to assist us. Looking forward to return in the future.

Peaceful Calmness

Pros: Great location. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Loved that there was undercover parking on the property. Huge comfortable bedrooms. Hot fully pressurized shower. We really felt comfortable and secure in this self-catering unit.Lots of privacy. Malan and Wilma were both there to greet us when we arrived. We had received genuinely warm welcome. The location of the unit is in an ideal location to visit local attractions and nearby towns. We loved our time here. The views from the cottage are quite amazing.

Pros: The cottage is very well equipped and spacious. Our host was there to meet us and explained everything. There is a carport and everything is kept in a mint condition.

Berge und Meer

Pros: Sehr ruhig gelegen, komplett ausgestattet mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Die Betten sind bequem und die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Man kann den Sonnenuntergang von dem Balkon aus beobachten. Wir haben uns jederzeit wohl und sicher gefühlt.
