Pros: The location is truly spectacular, with exceptional views and a setting we enjoyed immensely. Our host was very kind, welcoming, and consistently responsive, creating a client-centered experience that made us feel valued and appreciated. We look forward to returning soon to further explore the hikes and natural beauty of the area.

Cons: The jacuzzi was really nice especially in the evening under the stars but it took for ever to get it going.

Pros: Great location, very quiet and great views. Well equipped with an air fryer, dishwasher (that had a problem), fridge, gas stove, etc. Some loadshedding lights.

Cons: The air conditioners need some maintenance, they only point straight down onto your head and the movable vanes do not work. The fridge didn't get very cold. One room does not have an aircon.

Most peaceful and beautiful place, surrounded by nature

Pros: Secluded, private, completely immersed in nature and you could watch the wildlife from the large balcony. I just loved everything about it. The cottage was extremely comfortable, equipped with everything you need and very tastefully decorated. The bath in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub with a view of the stars was fantastic. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back!

Comfortable and serene

Pros: Beautiful setting and very wel-equipped cottage. We stayed in the Steenbok cottage and I could easily imagine spending a whole week there as a family or group of friends. Quiet and serene, views for days, wildlife to be spotted from the balcony, hot tub, comfortable furnishings, etc. etc. etc.

Cons: - The swimming pool was empty and out of operation. We would’ve liked a heads up about it. Even though it was winter, it was warm enough to swim. - Even though it was great that there’s a lot of wood supplied that you can purchase using an honesty box, the wood was unfortunately wet and very difficult to make a fire with.

Pros: wonderful long weekend stay. Marianka was a wonderful hostess and sorted out questions and geyser problem(not their fault) very quickly.

Pros: Amazing place. Had all the comforts expected and beyond.

Cons: Was a little sad to be unable to get the hot tub to work so hopefully next time

Pros: It was the most peaceful and beautiful unit and surroundings. We will definitely go back again. The cottage got everything you need with a beautiful equipped kitchen. We loved every moment of our stay.

See the zebras

Pros: Nestled on a reserve, the property is very private where one can easily forget the hustle and bustle of modern life. There are wild animals roaming the area, such as zebras and springbok, which we enjoyed spotting on the drive in and out of the property We also enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub very much. Despite being novices, there were very clear instructions on how to go about getting it up and running. Two bags of firewood were also provided which we put to good use

Cons: The road in was rather narrow and there were the occasional big rocks that needed to be circumnavigated. While it is manageable, for those driving smaller vehicles, or vehicles with low ride heights, it can be a little unnerving
