Quaint little cottage perfect for a solo getaway

Pros: I booked myself and my fur child in for a solo getaway and this little home was absolutely perfect for us! The hosts were super helpful throughout the stay, and its perfectly located walking distance from the town. Can’t wait to come back to Greyton again :)

Cons: The property doesn’t have cooking facilities (oven / stove) which was actually great, as it forced me to get out and explore the restaurants in Greyton instead of cooking at the house, like I did would usually do back home.

Perfect cozy home

Pros: Great location, near enough to walk into town but far away enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Perfect size for me and my dog! And the most fantastic shower 🤩

LESS IS MORE - HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Pros: The exceptional way in which a small space can be so tastefully and thoughtfully furnished with a practical layout. Less is more! Loved the birds waking us in the morning, falling asleep to the tranquil stream and little frogs. Morning visits from the town horses and even a visit one evening from a huge silver horse that came to eat right out of my hand at the garden gate and even said hallo to my excited dog. Warmed ourselves indoors by the fireplace in the evening and early mornings being mid-winter! I had the whole downstairs to myself and my daughter slept in the loft. Such a peaceful garden so beautifully kept ....

Pros: The most perfect little house in the most perfect little town. It has everything...best communication from the host, perfect location, the most character, all the amenities that is needed. We can't wait to go back.

Excellent location and nice cottage with everything you need.

Pros: Excellent location, nice and quiet yet close to all amenities. The cottage is cute and comfortable. The host provided some nice extras such as a milk, Nespresso, rusks, nuts and a nice bottle of wine.

Cons: We had a smell of some chemical, maybe creosote due to the recently thatched roof.

Cozy cottage ideally located

Pros: Even though it’s tiny it’s worth what you pay for it. It has everything you need for a cozy stay. I stayed here for 2 nights with my dog and had a lovely time exploring Greyton.

Adorable cottage

Pros: Everything was amazing! The cottage is absolutely adorable and oozing with character. The fireplace was ideal and easy to use. Comfy couches and bed. The location was perfect in relation to the high street. I've stayed at many places and this is by far the best experience. The host is generous with complimentary wine, chocolates and cookies. We will definitely be coming back.

Mouse House Greyton

Pros: The cottage is beautiful and cozy and I loved the enclosed garden for the safety of my 2 dogs. The little stream at the back of the property with all the trees and bird life made it a little haven of peace and tranquility. The free roaming horses walking past the cottage every morning is very special. Make sure you have apples and carrots to give them.

Cons: Only suggestion I would make is for the house keys to be marked with the relevant door and gates that they open as I battled finding which of the 3 keys fitted which gates.
