Lovely House with great views easy access to town

Pros: We know Franschhoek having been there many times. The location is perfect, not too close to the busy main street, but easily walkable. The house was well equipped and the weather, mostly, was lovely and sunny. (It did get very windy one day). The location is very secure, in a gated estate. Went to Rickety Bridge for wine tasting and a food platter, which was as always very good. A new place for us, that we had lunch at, was Arkeste. Chamonix's restaurant. A beautiful setting in woodland and excellent food and service. We were going to go to the farmer's market on Saturday, but it was manic in town. Maybe because it was Valentine's weekend.

Cons: Less wind!

Pros: Nice house equipped with all necessities, like toiletteries, washing machine, dishwasher. Comfortable beds and aircon. Easy checkin and checkout

Brilliant stay

Pros: From the pool to the rooms and bathrooms, the place is really well setup and a pleasure to stay in. The location is really great, with easy access to the main town and quiet enough to rest.

We had a wonderful Christmas in Franshoek and the accommodation was top-notch!

Pros: The host was very friendly and very accommodating. We arrived one hour early but the accommodation was clean ready. The property is in an estate with a gate and we felt safe. There is a lockup garage and facilities to do your own laundry. The pool was a very welcome relief from the African sun. The mountain views were also spectacular from the property.

Cons: The pool-pump is noisy, and the gas braai\\bbq is not ideal. Would have preferred an option to use a traditional wood bbq.

Shame we were only there for 2 nights, would have liked to have stayed longer

Pros: Very spacious, pretty garden & good size pool. Safe parking & lovely views.

Cons: Could keys have tags on which doors they are for.

Pros: Goede locatie, fijne buitenruimte. Voor met x:n tweeën is het te groot en te duur. Met vier personen is het top. Veilige korte looproute naar restaurant en winkels.
