Diemersfontein Wine & Country Estate

Pros: It was a very splendid experience. The staff and food were exceptionally good. The cottage was beautiful, However, in need of a few repairs. The main door had gaps at the bottom, leaving clients slightly vulnerable to little reptiles and big flies. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to visit and spend a few good days 👌

Overall a pleasant stay.

Pros: Location is good, nice gardens and surrounding grounds

Cons: Parts of the rooms were in slight disrepair, there are activities to generally upgrade the establishment however.

Very nice venue, busy with nice expansions so will be even better soon im sure. Best in the area!

Pros: very nice place, will certainly return on next trip. Spacious rooms and bathrooms.

Cons: Staff felt having their staff meeting during breakfast time was more important than their actual paying customers getting breakfast, so couldnt have breakfast due to this on second day. Also was told restaurant opens at 7am, first day it only opened 7:40 and second day no idea.

May well stay again next year.

Pros: I left early. But they prepared me a nice breakfast pack to take away.

Pros: Staff here always go above and beyond, there are a fantastic team who work together here. The estate itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and spotless. When we had breakfaat tthe first time we stayed the food was cooked just right with lots of variety.

Cons: Wine tastings were unavailable due to the maintenance works. This could not be helped but we were informed quickly when we arrived so we got lunch elsewhere.

Pros: The property is wonderful and large enough for a lovely walk around before breakfast. The complimentary wine tasting was an excellent surprise!

Cons: When I had made the booking it would have been better to make it clear that the restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday for dinner. It would have been nice to have a few more options for breakfast

Pros: The staff were lovely and incredibly friendly. We had a really nice relaxing afternoon by the pool and thoroughly enjoyed lunch at the restaurant. We were there for an event so didnt spend too much time at the venue itself. The staff were even kind enough to lend us their only iron.

Cons: Nothing, we had a great stay and met all our expectations.

Lovely surprise at the size of the cottage, could relax and enjoy the views.

Pros: The accommodation was very roomy and comfortable. We didn’t realise we would be in a cottage which was fantastic

Relaxing experience with beautiful view and surroundings. Would highly recommend.
