Relaxing recharge way from the hustle of city life

Pros: Margaret the manager was amazing. So welcoming! The breakfast was outstanding. A selection of bread, yogurts, cheeses, salami, ham, cereals and then the hot breakfast, tea and coffee. Really nothing to complain about here it was lovely. The massage was done by the owners wife. She does a very good job. Had so much pain in my shoulder and it is much better. The owner has a very warm and friendly smile. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. The lamb shank and vegetables was outstanding!! There are also the friendly dogs roaming around that made us feel at home. The parrots are so colourful, the sound did not bother us at all, possibly because we were not near their cages. We had a good break away from the city rush. Will visit again in a heartbeat.

Pleasant stay in tranquil setting

Pros: Very convenient location, right accross from a function venue that does not have accommodation facilities so, perfect for a stay after a function. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and allowed for early check-in. Very tranquil surroundings, perfect for escape from city-life. Breakfast was included and there were sufficient options. Lovely to sit outside on the veranda under the trees. Accommodation is in old farm house, with vintage furnishing and touches, which adds to the charm, but don't expect modern finishes. Braai facilities, pool and games available which I did not get to use. Also a restaurant and wine tasting room on the premises.

Cons: Was perfect for my one night stay and would recommend for a nice city break if you are into the older farm style set-up.

Pros: I absolutely loved the place with it's old rustic style. Margret was so friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going back to take my twin daughters there. The place, the rooms, the restaurant everything was just beautiful.

Pleasant and comfortable.

Pros: Very good location, also a great restaurant on the premises. Room was comfortable. We had an old Dover stove in the cottage which added character. The farm produces very good wine at a reasonable price.

Lovely Cape Dutch style rooms with original finishes. Very clean room and comfortable bed with high quality linen.

Pros: I loved the Cape Dutch architecture and the beautiful old rooms with thatch roof and original doors and windows :)

Cons: Our breakfast was not great. The chef didn’t not know how to make eggs and overall the breakfast was very underwhelming. I would prefer to pay slightly less and rather go for breakfast somewhere else. This property should consider offering an option that does not include breakfast.

Peaceful environment

Pros: Breakfast was good. Beautiful surrounds, big trees.

Great stay

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room had everything you need. The bathroom was great and a lovely size. Margret and staff was exceptional, very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great too.

Cons: The sounds of all the birds can be a bit much on the first morning but you get use to it.

Pros: Eveything. The owner was really a comparing and our guests were very happy

Quiet, comfortable, and relaxed.

Pros: The doggies were THE BEST part and if I could take them home with me I would. The staff were also lovely, and I had such a lovely breakfast on the porch with the doggies. They also went the extra mile to make sure you had everything you needed in your rooms - the detail was noticed!

Cons: We had to cancel one room last minute and I couldn't transfer this for credit for another night (for me to stay) or another day. This was a me problem though and would have just been a nice touch but certainly not expected at all.
