Beautiful accommodation / friendly hosts

Pros: Lovely accommodation near to flliks restaurant and just a 15 min scenic walk into the town centre

Lovely place and great hosts. Exceptional.

Pros: Everything about the room and how it was furnished was exceptionally good. Could not want for anything more. Rudi and his wife, sorry forgot her name, were the perfect hosts and going back for a second stay is no problem at all. Lovely place and people.

Cons: Nothing we can think of 10 out of 10.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay here. The owners were incredibly nice. They helped us with tips on where to go and were so hospitable. The room is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Outside, you have your own sun loungers and there is a swimming pool. We would love to stay here again.

Pros: The Gables guesthouse is located approximately a 15-minute walk from the Hermanus center in a very quiet area. A great advantage is the swimming pool, which is perfect for cooling off on a hot day. It's not very large, but it's deep. The patios of the rooms are separated from each other by greenery, so guests feel a sense of privacy. There is secure parking available on the guesthouse grounds. The owners, Rudi and Robyn, are very friendly and attentive. We recommend this guesthouse for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Gorgeous guest house, perfectly situated within walking distance of the cliff..

Pros: The room was spacious and beautifully furnished with a lovely view out to the garden and swimming pool. The hosts were very welcoming, and even gave us a lovely gift of wine and cookies on Christmas day. The pool area is fabulous, each unit has 2 loungers and an umbrella so we spent a couple of days just lounging and swimming.

Cons: A great addition would be a one plate counter top induction plate in the kitchenette to boil an egg etc.

Good hide away within walking distance of town and the coastal path

Pros: Spacious accommodation Lovely garden area with pool

Cons: A small electric hob would be a welcome addition

Host was very friendly and helpful and accommodation was as expected.

Pros: The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and separate toilet/shower en suite. The kitchenette was adequate and free wi-fi was good. Lovely little pool in the garden for cooling off and each room has a nice patio with chairs and sun loungers. Secure parking provided in front garden. Excellent location for a gentle 10 minute walk to the main restaurant area on the waterfront.

Cons: We enjoyed our stay and had no issues.

Back to the Gables

Pros: We returned after 3 years because we liked the secure set up, the large comfortable room and the garden with own patios for the 4 units, loungers and the pool.

Cons: Nothing really although we had some issues with the tv, which never really worked.

Immaculately clean with friendly hosts

Pros: Beautiful room with a private patio area and lovely shared pool. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing - all was great

Pros: Had a wonderful time during our holiday and will definitely come back.
