Pros: Breakfast was very nice, though a bit over priced. Location was on a very busy main road, would have preferred somewhere quieter, but convenient location, very central. Rooms were up to an excellent standard, the owner / decorator has thought of everything, was really impressed!

Cons: Less noise from garden staff (completely unnecessary to use a leaf blower especially on such a small property!) Rather give him a broom. Your guests just want peace and quiet. A few leaves lying around is not a problem! A leaf blower is an absolute no-no (should only be allowed in industrial areas). Made me want to run away! Would have been nice to use the breakfast room kitchen to self cater a little bit, but this was not really allowed.

Exceptional hospitality from Anel made this comfortable, well-located stay outstanding value for money.

Pros: We had a really enjoyable stay at Sixteen Guesthouse on Main. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely outlook onto the pool area. Everything was well equipped and thoughtfully set up, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. The location is excellent – close to restaurants, shops, and the seafront, all within easy walking distance. Anel was extremely helpful and truly went above and beyond to assist us, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish. Overall, it offered great value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

Great place and location but on busy Main Street.

Pros: Everything is wonderful, the room is clean and cosy with a beautiful serene toilet. The host is exceptionally friendly!

Cons: Nothing!

Just the location you need for easy access to the town and beaches….thank you once again.

Pros: The location is sooo convenient for the town. Anel and her husband along with her team are the perfect hosts. Superbly clean with all the small touches you could think of. Great 12 night stay….this is a must for travellers to Hermanus.

Pros: The rooms are spacious and the aircon was a life saver from the heat. The refill of the filter coffee and rusks was a treat. The swimming pool was stunning.

Cons: The parking space was limited. It was a minor challenge to manoeuvre in and out.

Pros: Good location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and seafront. Friendly staff. Good sized room with large bathroom. Nice and clean.

Luxurious comfort in the heart of Hermanus

Pros: Absolutely stunning property. Well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. Aircon. Minibar. Seating area. Sparkling pool. Well situated.

Pros: Our host kindly accommodated our request for a more simple continental breakfast (instead of the SA full breakfast) and charged a fair price for it. Our room and bed were very comfortable, and the shower was one of the better ones we had during our three weeks in SA. The secure parking behind a big gate was also just perfect.

Cons: Leaving a little bit of food on the table caused ants to find it, and thereafter we needed to be very careful not to attract any more ants. Just a nuisance more than anything else, but guests should be aware that ants can be there too.
