Pros: Location - so close to the shops plus hotel parking.

Cons: The strange cups/glasses to drink tea or coffee - prefer cu or s with jangles. (But this was not a big deal! )

Pros: Certainly a ‘burgundy’ place with nice rooms, nice pool and terrace. Certainly one of the best options in Hermanus. Helpful staff.

A classy little gem

Pros: Fabulous location. Delicious breakfast. The staff in the hotel go the extra mile to make sure you have the best stay. My husband had a really good massage, which helped his aching shoulder. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Super walks in the area, lots of art shops. Great local restaurants. We did the whale tour with Marine Dynamics and saw the big 5, including whales even though it’s out of season.

Cons: Wished we stayed longer, we could’ve moved in

Wonderful hotel in Hermanus

Pros: Great hotel with lovely helpful staff. The location is perfect and our room Penthouse 1 was amazing. We both had massages at the hotel spa and they was one of best we have ever had and they was very professional. Would recommend this hotel to others and would 100% stay here again

Pros: It is my third visit to Auberge in the past 30 years and I can say, the hotel has even gotten better over time. It is still beautifully decorated, every little thing thought through, staff were friendly, location is incredible in a much built up hermanus now, they are still top notch!
