Amazing stay! Highly recommend.

Pros: Loved the breakfast! The host was very polite and check-in was easy. It's on a historic farm which stems to the early (Dutch) settlers. Honestly the best stay we had in SA, as a lot of the farm stays are quite run down, this one was in pristine condition.

Excellent accommodation, great host and delicious breakfast

Pros: The accommodation was beautiful set in a stunning estate with incredible surroundings of the countryside and plum trees. The house was very good quality and very clean. The wifi was great and the breakfast was one of the best I have had around.

Bags of character and history but still a lovely stay

Pros: Fantastic historic building with tons of character, whilst still comfortable and with really friendly staff and host. Good breakfast that the host went out of her way to provide extras that were not available the first day.

Cons: No aircon, although due to the age of the building with thick walls it does stay cool and they had a really effective fan if it did get too hot. It was 30°+ when we were there and we didn't even need the fan.

Peaceful stay in a stunning location!

Pros: Stunning guest house set in beautiful grounds. The room was very lovely and quite large, with fantastic views of the farm, as well as all the amenities thoughtfully provided to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and served in such a beautiful courtyard! We will definitely be returning here, and highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy peaceful relaxation but just be a short drive from the centre of Franschhoek.

Absolutely wonderful! I loved it.

Pros: The location of the place is stunning and intimate. The hotel itself is surrounded by wonderful gardens and vineyards. It is very safe there. It is located quite close to the downtown of Franschohoek. It takes only 5 min to drive there. The staff was really kind and treated us very generously. Our breakfast was full of delicious options. The pool and patio around it provided us with a lot of comfort and relaxation time. Some day we will definitely go back there.

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay, just a few minutes from Franschhoek. We loved it!!

Pros: We had the most wonderful stay at Cape Dutch and we were so well looked after by Corna. It is the most beautiful place, a delicious breakfast too in the morning. Would highly recommend!
