Suited the purpose, bring handy for hospital and shops

Pros: Good kitchen facilities. Chris and Evvie (hosts) were welcoming and helpful when needed. Quiet location, garden area for relaxing.

Cons: Working the TV, had to ask Evvie to help each time. Suggested she provides notes to help future guests.

Pros: Evvie and Kris were amazing hosts, who simply could not do enough to make my short stay very pleasant indeed. I stayed in Birds Nest Cottage, which was very well appointed, and extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was immaculate and just the right size for a swim after a hot day. Nice quiet location, but within walking distance of the village where you can find restaurants and shops. Also, only a short drive to local wine estates with restaurants. I'm already planning a trip next year, and when in the Cape Town area, will definitely be staying at Pelican Place Cottages......can't recommend enough. Steve.

This place is welcoming , I felt safe, and like I was at home. Central to all your Durbanville needs

Pros: Evie and her husband are great hosts. I felt safe and welcomed. The rooms are clean, neat and everything that you need. And if you need something not provided. Evie will supply it pronto. The location is central and very close to Durbanville & surrounding areas. The pool and grounds are lovely and well maintained. I will definitely return.
