excellent stay

Pros: we had a great stay. the beds were comfortable, the cottage had an indoor fireplace. Kitchen was well kitted out. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

A comfortable cute little cottage in the country

Pros: Easily accessible, clear instructions, very reasonably priced and perfect for our needs of somewhere to stay after attending an evening concert nearby.

Wonderful farm in the Elgin Highlands, we had a great time with family and friends.

Pros: Wonderful farm in the Elgin Highlands. We did book 2 cottages as two families and particularly enjoyed the Fish Eagle Lodge. Cottages are fully equipeed, the view is beautiful and it's perfect for a braai on the porch. Swimming in the dam and going out with the boat with the kids was wonderful too.

Cons: The Road House is right at the entrance, so a bit noisy and also a bit nestled in the shade. The boat on the dam could be in a slightly better condition and should be cleaned. The SUP can't really be used.

Pros: Loved the location, the fact that we could bring our two little dogs along, and the peaceful farm environment.

Pros: It was beautiful, relaxing ,calming,peaceful the owner kept in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend its also close to great places to visit like peregrine, elgin market . Loved our stay.

Cons: I liked everything would defenitly go back

A wonderful place with privacy and a view.

Pros: Wonderful views, privacy and good facilities. Perfect for our dog, probably the best place we have stayed with our dog. Having access to the whole apple farm was a treat. Dams were enjoyed by the kids. Really loved the place, wish we could have stayed longer. The self-catering is fantastic, with a full-size fridge, proper burners and a good-sized prep area. We did not stay long enough to braai but that looks like it is well done too.

Cons: It's hard to be picky. However, there were some minor issues with the shower; the water temperature dropped after a few minutes. Not sure if perhaps the gas was low. The shower head was spraying everywhere, so I had to remove and reassemble it. The locking mechanism for the doors is not well-engineered. Also missed a potato masher. Also, nothing they can do about it, but the frogs are very noisy took a night to get used to it. Also wish there were blackout curtains, but the top part of the cottage has no way of preventing light in

Beautiful getaway from the busy world.

Pros: Good experience being away from the busy world. Beautiful mornings and sunsets.

Cons: Bad cell signal. No streetlights on roads. Nothing wrong with venue, though.

Amazing stay and romatic getaway

Pros: The paraffin lamps were nice and the view was amazing. Such a romatic atmosphere.

Cons: The outdoor fire place was a bit difficult to braai in and the indoor fireplace doesn't have a great chimney so the room got a bit smokey.

Perfect place to put your feet up and relax.

Pros: Stunning location. Cottage was amazing. Super comfy and loads of charm.

Cons: Nothing really.

it was a birthday getaway and I have to say the accomodation exceeded our expectations.

Pros: The wholesomeness and the comfortability of the property.

Cons: There’s nothing we did not like
