Zorgvliet Wines Country Lodge

Nestled in the scenic Banhoek Valley, Zorgvliet features an outdoor pool with views of the Simonsberg Mountain, wine tastings and picnics as well as Padel courts at the foot of the mountain. The luxurious rooms and apartments contain European style décor and feature views of the surrounding gardens, vineyards and mountains. The spacious bathrooms have a bath and shower and come with free toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms. A number of restaurants on the estate offers lunch & picnics and we do have a restaurant that is open for dinner as well. Children can enjoy the playground which forms part of our picnic & bistro area, while the whole family can relax in the communal picnic area or on one of the many vineyard trails. The renowned city of Stellenbosch is only 8 km away. An airport shuttle can be arranged to Cape Town International Airport, 42 km away.

Picturesque views from estate. Lukewarm reception.

Pros: Estate is very well maintained, had dinner there and the food was perfect

Cons: Staff at reception were professional but not as warm as other wine lodges.

My husband and I are both so appreciative to be back in our special place… until the next visit.

Pros: We can’t describe the feeling of being back Zorgvliet back to where we said I do in front of family & friends. The memories but making new ones. I never appreciated how truly beautiful Zorgvliet is but also the whole experience, wonderful food and amazing staff but more so the wine!

Pros: The location is beautiful, the ground are lovely for a stroll around. The wine tasting was relaxed in a stunning setting. The pool area was perfect for relaxing. The room was comfy, a large bed and bath. Breakfast was à la carte, and the food was tasty.

Cons: The restaurant and setting was lovely, the pizzas were average, but did not take away from the overall experience.

Pros: Such a beautiful estate that is surrounded by the most beautiful landscape. The rooms are so spacious and comfy. The activities are endless. The breakfast was divine! The staff so warm, welcoming and helpful!

Amazing!a must visit

Pros: This place is magic for nature lovers!i liked walking in the morning looking at the vineyards...just too bad it is winter and couldnt see grapes!the wine was excellent...though am not a connoiseur i can tell good from not good...the breafast lodge was so cosy with a fireplace....the personnel was very courteous. The room is really nice with all ths facilities...

Cons: everything was perfect but providing a pair of slippers in the room wd definitely be a plus!
