Milkwood Cabin Getaway

Pros: Very peaceful with beautiful views. We enjoyed the pool and games by the shop throughout the day and talking a walk down to the beach to watch sunset. Perfect for what we wanted!

Cons: Some of the lights didn’t work in the property

Beautiful peaceful spot

Pros: Beautiful peaceful spot with amazing views, loved the wild horses and all the birdlife. Great that the rooms had fans, and enjoyed all the different decks down the garden. Nice to have the option of using the gas braai or braaiing outside.

Cons: The fridge was not very cold, but the freezer part worked fine. The kettle lid was broken. But otherwise everything was great.

It was an enjoyable and peaceful experience.

Pros: The location was ideal with the mountain and lagoon in the background. We enjoyed the facilities. It is close to the sea and the mall. It was very peaceful

Pros: I enjoyed the overall scenery, I loved the view of the lagoon when waking up, one step out by the sliding door on the balcony, and you're met with the beautiful scenery. It was quiet, calm, and relaxing. Enjoyed the overall stay.

I could easily stay there for a month and not suffer cabin-fever or boredom.

Pros: The ambience and location are excellent. The sounds of the sea and birds were most welcome. The chalet had everything we needed, from an air fryer to a blender. Access to the lagoon was a pleasure, and I particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the lagoon and the hills beyond.

Cons: The only problem we experienced was the cramped lounge. I would recommend removing clutter and unnecessary items, such as the book rack.

Pros: The view of the lagoon is phenomenal and the cabin was beautiful

Pros: The location was beautiful. We loved the private access and the facilities. it was quiet and relaxing. The kids enjoyed the bird watching. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would definitely go back and recommend it.

Cons: We were overall happy with the amenities. We experienced loadshedding which was unavoidable due to cable theft. However the host could have communicated better on what needs to be done with regards to lights etc. in such cases.

Superb location with good facilities at a decent price.

Pros: The location was fantastic. The views of the lagoon from the balcony and braai areas were great. The facilities (beach access, tennis courts, swimming pool) were good. The cabin also had unexpected bonuses like an optional gas braai and tennis racquets and a cricket bat.

Cons: Very few things to dislike, mostly a matter of preference/taste. I enjoyed the rustic cabin feel but small things like light switches in unexpected places could ruffle you if you are looking for perfection.

Amazing views

Pros: Beautiful views and a lovely deck to sit on. Felt close to nature and right at the beach. Clean and tidy. Flocks of flamingos on the water every day.

Cons: Unfortunately, there is no kayak/canoe which we were expecting to have.

Awesome

Pros: The location was amazing. Kitchen in unit well equipped.

Cons: Fire extinguishers need attention and no gas for grill so we had to swap gas between geyser and grill all the time
