Pros: Out of the way location made it special. Lovely vibe. Wine tasting was excellent and the owner gave us some of his home made fig roll and quince to try, with cheese We opted for the set three course dinner which, with the honesty bar,was exceptional value. All set in a grand hall

Cons: Tv had only one channel

Pros: Where to start....we booked the 3 bed cottage built on the hillside over looking the vineyard and out to the mountains. The property is incredible, and the huge verandah with its Braai BBQ was a real bonus

Lovely place to deconnect for a short while.

Pros: We stayed in the 3 bedroom Heimat cottage. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly staff at reception, and provided a tour of the main building and key areas of the estate, and then shown to our cottage. The cottage was well equipped, looked fantastic, and very comfortable to stay in for an overnight stay. We did a wine tasting, the host of which was very friendly and well informed. The pool area was clean and well equipped.

Cons: Drainage could be improved in at least one of the showers. Dinner was pleasant, but the configuration of one menu for all may not suit everyone - this is not a la carte.

Easily recommend to stay here, and if need be, will stay here again myself.

Pros: The setting was magnificent with surrounding mountains. Food was exquisite at supper. Breakfast was shared with a group, so seating was not optimal (in very warm dining room hall while group had lovely outside seating), and we asked to be moved but request was rejected. Staff is awesome, very friendly, always offering information when any questions asked.

Cons: As mentioned above, the breakfast venue was extremely hot, but the outside was reserved for exclusive use by a group from Russia.

Beautiful views, stunning wine, divine dinner

Pros: The breakfast was good. The location was absolutely perfect. Stunning mountain views. Beautiful wine farm large fruit orchids, beautiful garden, which we took the opportunity to take a walk after dinner. Woken up by the morning movement of the working farm. Wine tasing, their white wines are absolutely divine. Staff are very friendly. Supper! well, what can I say absolutely mouthwatering and very well presented. Our dinner was served in the old wine cellar, a unique setting, service was prompt and the ladies were very friendly. They also had a small play area for children with a couple of chairs so the parents could partake in the wine tasting while the children played. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed; room was nice and clean.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Excellent scenery, beautifully decorated, delicious food, comfy bed, neat and tidy.

Pros: Organized check-in (liked the instruction set addressed to me), pre-cooled room, accommodating late-arrival option

Cons: If there really needs to be said on negatives, the floor in the shower felt a bit slippery
