Beautiful stay in a stunning location

Pros: Franschhoek is such a stunning place to stay. We loved our stay here. It is 10 min walk to the wine tram and to all the restaurants and bars. It felt very safe and we walked home at night in the dark and felt safe. We wouldn't do this in cape town. The room was great size and we had seats outside. Pool area is beautiful. We wished we had better weather to sunbathe. Breakfast was superb and staff friendly. Parking right outside the house. Would highly recommend!

Pros: Staff are exceptional, amazing breakfast, good location, rooms are spacious with a sitting area and very clean.

Vive La Vie is a real gem, the staff were great and our stay was very relaxing

Pros: A beautiful property within walking distance of the town. Our room felt very private and relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic but the best thing about our stay was the warmth from the staff

Pros: Most things were better than expected, the premises, the lovely residential area, the pool would have been great too if it wasn´t filled with leafs. The room looked much better in reality, but the pillows were to high and I had to sleep on a towel instead and if you need to go to the toilet in the night, not only are you switching on the light in both the bathroom and in the toilet room at the same time the noisy extractor also turns on, all on the same lamp button so there is a large risk of waking up your company too. Everything else was great, breakfast excellent, just enough and very nice!

Great experience yet again! Fab location.

Pros: Room is lovely with a nice shower. We had the room next to the pool area. Bed is comfy with nice pillows. We got to know the owners last year but they weren’t there this time although we got to say hello on FaceTime. They are lovely. The breakfast is so good. You get a great starting continental selection followed by cooked if you wish from the menu! The rooms have Netflix and Amazon prime. You can walk to the wine tram starting point so the location is great. Parking available outside. Toiletries and hairdryer provided. Nice robes in the room. Lovely pool area. There is air con in the room and shower gel in the bathroom.

Cons: The pool chairs could be cleaned down as they’re covered in leaves/bits. There was nowhere to order wine if we wanted a glass. We could never find anyone and it said until 6pm we should be able to order.

An Outstanding Place to Stay – Highly Recommended!

Pros: Our stay at this accommodation was simply exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the host, whose friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out. The breakfast was a real highlight: top quality, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated. The entire property reflects a great sense of style and attention to detail. What made it even more special were the beautiful artworks by an African artist displayed throughout the property.

Fantastic value for money and really comfortable.

Pros: The hostess was extremely attentive, from keeping an eye out for us when we arrived to checking on our needs without being at all invasive. We felt really welcome and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing! And extremely generous. Really an unexpected added bonus! Super coffee in the bedroom as well. The room was lovely and warm and the electric blanket was already on when we arrived. Thank you! We were also thoughtfully provided with an umbrella for the duration of our stay. Loved the art as well. I think this will be an amazing place to stay in summer as well, as it has a beautiful swimming pool and outside area. Definitely my go to spot in Franschhoek now!
