Nothing But View

Pros: You cannot go wrong with Nothing But View! We had an amazing stay and will definitely be going back when in Hermanus! The place is absolutely stunning and a lot of thought has been put into the small details and touches of everything you may need within a self-catering unit and to get the most out of your stay! What a pleasure. 😁 If you follow the travel instructions given, the small part of the informal settlement that you pass before the entrance of the beach club is a small price to pay for what it leads to! The host Madeleine is great and very responsive when needed, which definitely added to the great experience! Don't think about it, just do it!

Good for a short stay and good value.

Pros: Good location, true to the description. View of the coast was excellent as was the terrace at the property.

Cons: Access was at the end of a township. The main bedroom and en-suite were very nice, the other two bedrooms and bathroom were a bit cramped.

Magical

Pros: Spacious rooms , games , amenities like washing machine and dish washer . Well equipped kitchen and incredible entertainment area

Cons: Nothing everything was wonderful only that we couldn’t stay longer

Pros: It is a safe area. The view of the sea is fantastic. The large terrace is also unique. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

Pros: Entrance is via a manned security gate. We were easily able to access the keys. We had clear instructions from the owner on how to find the property. The property has a lovely view and a great outdoor area which you can enjoy the ocean view from. We were unfortunately only there for one night but enjoyed watching the sun set. The property itself is completely functional and suitable for 6 people ( 2 double beds and 2 single beds).

Cons: Double beds opposed to queen size (only because we are used to bigger) but likely wouldn't fit well in the room available. It is close to a settlement and you need to drive past this to and from the property. There were no issues with this but we aren't local so not used to this.

Pros: This apartment has the best views and is amazing to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Melanie was very helpful, the apartment is clean, cozy and has everything you need for a restful getaway.

Very enjoyable family stay

Pros: The penthouse is comfortably furnished and the kitchen well equipped. As we were travelling with teenagers we appreciated the boardgames and books. The view is amazing! It is also conveniently close to the beach as well as the clubhouse. It was very nice to have a gass hob as well as an inverter system during the very frequent and long power failures.

Cons: It is a penthouse on the 3rd floor. As we are not so young anymore we struggled a bit to get luggage to the top. The squatters next to the access road tend to b a bit problematic due to pedestrians, dogs and chickens(!)

Perfekte Unterkunft am Meer

Pros: Lage mit der aussergewöhnlichen Dachterrasse. Whale-Watching von der Unterkunft aus möglich.

Cons: Die Doppelbetten sind etwas zu schmal.
