Hermanus Beach Club - 106 - Apartment with a view

Reasonable accommodation

Pros: Check in was ok...security did not have my details on file, which created a challenge to get into the premises, and then had to contact someone else to hand over the keys...check in took a bit longer than expected...

Cons: Overall a good breakaway in accommodation that offered the general requirements. In addition to the light fixtures over the dining table being way too low and knocking my head into it multiple times (a huge risk for injury), the unit does not seem to be maintained (cracks in the tiles, couches stained, etc...) Looks like it a need a bit of sprucing up...

Amazing flat in Hermanus

Pros: It was beautiful well maintained flat. The pictures does it justice. It was an easy and smooth check in and out process.

Cons: Too few blankets as it was a bit chilly at night

Pros: The Apartment was nice and clean and had all the necessary essentials available

Pros: We enjoyed the apartment. It was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the facilities

It was an amazing stay. Everyone were so friendly and we loved the activities

Pros: The activities were amazing. And the fact that we only checked out at 11am. And the clubhouse gave us permission to stay longer for activities

Cons: The one bathroom had a ugly smell and our bedrooms curtains looked so old. With mouldness on so it didn't look nice. But except that it was nice.

Pros: Al the facilities that's available. I also enjoyed the fact that I could go explore other places

Good vacation spot

Pros: The property is situated in a very nice complex with facilities which allowed the kids to enjoy their time without us being concerned that they would be getting into trouble. And being kid friendly meant that there were lots of kids for our children to play with while we were there. With regard to our unit, the unit was comfortable and had everything we were looking for and has a decent enough view of the ocean through the one window.

Cons: The complex is getting a little rundown and you can see that it needs a lot of general maintenance and upkeep. That being said it is not in a terrible state. Our unit needs to be cleaned much better and the curtains and wall should be cleaned more regularly as they were showing dirt and marks which would not be there if they were cleaned more often. The writeup stated that there were satellite channels; however, other than channel 100 no channels worked on DSTV, so this would need to be corrected.

Pros: The view from the main bedroom. The layout of the lounge and dining room.
