Pros: It was lush, safe, close to everything one might need like entertainment, restaurants and shops. The room was cosy and clean.

Serene and cozy

Pros: The Bergzight Guest Lodge is set on a beautiful Cape Dutch home in leafy Newlands. The host, Judith, was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The units are tastefully decorated with well-curated art and comfortable furniture. The beds were especially comfy. A covered outdoor seating area was provided, perfect for morning coffee as a family. Bergzicht is located a convenient 20min away from the airport and is an easy recommendation to all travelers.

Cons: Guests of the loft suite should be advised that it is accessed via a narrow spiral staircase which may be difficult for those carrying large luggage or for persons of reduced mobility. Privacy to the loft could be improved as there is no door between it and the lower level, although this is fine when the units are rented out in a family context. It may be more of a concern when other guests are present.

Pros: Lovely Room and patio ...thoughtful touches ...Great bed and super soft bed linen...all in all very nice.

Perfect Stay in Newlands

Pros: The garden suite was perfect for our stay in Cape Town. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the location and were able to walk to Cavendish Square for shopping and lunch. It was also very convinient being able to have our own breakfast and heat up a meal if need be. We'll definitely visit again!

Cons: Spiral stairs could be tricky

Pros: Lovely clean and very comfortable accommodation. Perfect if you are attending an event at the newlands cricket grounds. Only a walk across the road and you are there!

Cons: Nothing I didn't like

Pros: Location, cleanliness and the space. Judith was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: I liked everything, there was no TV in our room, but you don't come on a cricket stay-cation to watch TV.

Pros: it was super close to Newlands cricket stadium and we could safely and easily cross the road to get to the game
