Spacious cottage in a lovely setting.

Pros: The cottage is situated in a lovely setting by the golf course and is well maintained. It is spacious and the beds are comfortable.

Exceptional accommodation in the most beautiful surroundings

Pros: Breakfast was amazing. The location is great with beautiful scenery. The golf estate is pristine and the gardens and grounds exceptional. The apartments are beautifully decorated and spacious. I would definitely recommend.

Cons: Although there was a hair dryer there was no two-point plug so I couldn't use the hair dryer. The rooms also do not have two point plugs so we had to charge our cellphones down stairs.

A beautiful place, we would love to visit again.

Pros: We loved the lodge size, comfortable bedrooms with heating as was very cold, location was great, access to the golf club & restaurant was useful and the beautiful estate to walk around at the end of a busy day. The staff were all helpful too.

Cons: In the lodge the living area could do with a heater to warm up the downstairs - it was very cold down there and the log fireplace takes a long time to warm up this living area. The kitchen utensils need replacing - no sharp knife to carve meat, no kitchen scissors to cut open food packaging. We had a power outage at night for one hour (which was dealt with asap) but the inverter did not work and none of the solar lights worked either! These are all things advertised on the booking site.
