Great value love S outh Africa

Pros: Great views at pool side good food and drinks. Friendly staff, clean great value.

Cons: There was some sort of conference happening and there was drumming outside our room one morning

Pros: The location and food and the duty manager who was responsible and helpful

Cons: The 1st apartment was just not worth the price then we were moved to a better one, also there is a need to clean the outside of the apartments area, there is an entrance I avoided using due to the dirty outside

The staff were wonderful, food outstanding for non vegetarians, more on the menu for vegetarians would be welcomed

Pros: We loved the location, however was not happy with the room. The description on booking.com said partial view of the Mountain and sea, nowhere near it, we had a building when we looked out of our room had to turn our heads to see a bit of the mountain and sea. So the description needs to be changed as you see smoother building when you open the curtains not what is described.

Cons: As mentioned above.

Pros: Everything was perfect, clean beach, everything spotless, every member of staff were exceptional, food was very good, breakfast was first class, Pieter run an exceptional Hotel, thank you to all the staff at the Hotel for a fantastic break away, we stayed 4 more days in the sea view second floor, see you next year.

We had a great time.

Pros: It's my second time staying here and we had a great time. Loved the puddings, all the puddings we had, we loved. My baby loved the yoghurt and the potatoes. And the fish was fresh and so soft. The food was really good.

Cons: Housekeeping was too early. I don’t understand why they’d come to clean the room at 8.30 am. My infant would always be disturbed by the knock on the door.

Pros: Friendly staff, fantastic view directly on beach and also of Table Mountain. 2 bed apartment very well equipped including washing machine! Huge balcony. Good food in 3 restaurants. Peace and quiet away from centre of town. Heated pool by beach. Nice spa- great massages.

Cons: No air con in apartments. It is a 10-15 minute Uber drive from centre. Traffic can be a problem in the afternoon and took 1 hour to get back on one occasion. Despite signing a ‘rules’ form that included no smoking of cannabis there was a strong smell of it from next door apartment. When we complained we were told it was a privately owned apartment so they couldn’t do anything. Cannabis is legal in SA.

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, bar staff brilliant, all in all a great stay.

Cons: When we arrived a person 'near hotel' was dircting us to park on the street. We later realised, he did not work for the hotel and we were advised to swiftly move the car into the underground secured parking. That was the only issue we had and not of the hotels making.

Pros: Location very good with sea view if you select the correct sea view room and it is available

Cons: We were very disappointed that although we had booked a full sea view room for our 4 day stay we were down graded to a partial sea view room as ours was unavailable. Also the number of bed loungers around the pool was limited. As a suggestion there should be umbrellas put around the pool on the third floor to make it more available
