Cons: Only the pillows were soft. But not a big deal.

Cons: Perhaps invest in some better beds in the future. Maybe a queen size rather than a double In one of the bedrooms. I did appreciate the mattress topper.

Charm and excellent location.

Pros: Excellent breathtaking location. We enjoyed the spacious house and outdoor seating area to be able enjoy the scenery. The braai facilities were good. We also enjoyed jogging and hiking on the farm. The beds were comfy and Carla ensured that our special request was granted.

Cons: There was no mirror near a plug for blowdrying hair.

Wonderful stay at Mount Joy

Pros: Our stay at Mount Joy was truly wonderful. Kyle and Carla went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The place itself is cozy, with everything you could possibly need, and if anything extra comes up, don’t hesitate to ask, as they are incredibly attentive and caring hosts. The views are simply breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. To top it off, the area is surrounded by fantastic wine estates like Rainbow’s End, Oldenburg, and many others, making it an ideal location for wine lovers.
