The Cottage - a tranquil hideaway

Comfy, modern and property is in a beautiful area. We had everything we needed.

Pros: Modern and comfy. Venue had everything we needed and we had a lovely stay.

A fabulous stay with good friends in an idyllic location with lovely hosts.

Pros: It is a beautiful property, very well appointed, in a fabulous location with a fantastic view. Sam and Wim were so helpful and made sure that we had a brilliant stay with them. They gave us plenty of information and made sure that we had some recommendations for eating out.

Cons: Nothing at all.

A hidden gem where we could rest & catch our breath!

Pros: Loved the views. The washing machine absolutely a bonus as not many properties have that.

Cosy country get away

Pros: Definitely on the tranquil side and had a country side feel. The cottage is spacious, clean, smelt good, lots of light and airiness. Very nice braai facilities with indoor chill out area. The sun seeps in warming up the cottage beautifully throughout the day. Fortunately, we are in Autumn so lovely sun - but if u get warm there is an aircon to cool off the cottage. Back up solar power is comforting. Under cover parking. Main bedroom have a beautiful lounge area looking out at the garden view and mountain view. Beautiful space to chill out and read a book or have some alone time. Bed and bedding good condition. Upstairs loft room also spacious and a seating area to relax if u didn’t want be in the lounge. All basic essentials needed for self catering. Washing machine and line to hang out washing outdoors. 2 nice size bathrooms - no bath just shower. Owners were welcoming & allowed us our privacy throughout our stay. That was very much appreciated.

Cons: Shower for me water pressure was low and not as hot for me.

The Cottage - a Home away from Home

Pros: The venue was spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings were tranquil and peaceful. An ideal getaway. The hosts were very friendly, quite knowledgeable of the area, and shared all the very popular tourist attractions. Our privacy was sacrosanct, and this made our stay at the Cottage even more delightful. Will definitely go there again.

Lovely comfortable accomodation in a great setting.

Pros: The estate is gorgeous and the property itself is magnificent. Comfortable beds, great braai area and well equipped kitchen.

Cons: The general area surrounding the luxury estate is a little disconcerting especially driving at night.

Exceptional

Pros: We recently had the pleasure of staying at the cottage that truly felt like a home away from home. Right from the moment we arrived, the owners greeted us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt welcomed. It’s those little touches that make all the difference! The cottage itself was exceptional—spacious, cozy, and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen had all the amenities, making it easy for us to whip up meals together, and the living area was perfect for relaxing. What I loved most was how homely it felt. Every corner had little details that made it inviting, like comfy bedding, thoughtful decor, and even a local guide on the coffee table. It was clear that the owners put so much care into creating a space that feels both comfortable and special. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a warm, inviting getaway with all the comforts of home, this is it. Tranquil indeed.

Lovely tranquil setting, very friendly and helpful hosts. The Cottage is beautiful and well equipped

Pros: Tranquil setting and very well equiped cottage. All that we needed and more were available. Quiet getaway minutes away from the beach and shopping malls.

Pros: Stunning cottage In the middle of nature surrounded by mountains, vineyards, and a few km's drive to the ocean.

Cons: Outside grass area could off a slight bit more privacy, it's a private cottage and not a guest house so personally, we prefer privacy for such stays. Loved everything else about it!
