Beautiful days at ’The joyful Tortoise’!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at ’The Joyful Tortoise’! The house itself is beautifully maintained and furnished, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The facilities were excellent, the villa was thoughtfully equipped and made us feel right at home. There is lots of room, space and light in the house. The location is perfect — close to the heart of Hermanus yet peaceful enough to truly unwind. It gave us easy access to the town’s attractions and to the beach, while still providing a quiet retreat. The view from the terrace towards the ocean and coast was spectacular. Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly recommend ’The Joyful Tortoise’ to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable and well-situated guesthouse in Hermanus. We were also very happy having Lydia as our contact person!
