Family break from Cape Town

Pros: The house was perfect. Exceptionally well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. There really was nothing extra that we needed. The pool was such a wonderful bonus.

Cons: It got a bit busy with day visitors across the road but not a problem at all.

A lovely house that can accommodate 6 adults.

Pros: The location is lovely and we enjoyed being so close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants. The beds were comfortable and security good. A lovely cozy fireplace when it was cold. We loved the icemaker in the fridge. Overall the house has a lovely feel and gave us a good break away from everyday life.

Cons: Plenty to improve on the small details. We stayed for 15 nights and were a group of 6 adults. The availability of towels seems to be a problem. Even after asking several times. At a minimum each person should have a bath towel and hair towel. No towels provided the dry hands in the bathrooms. There are several broken utensils that we couldn’t use. Chipped crockery. No tea pot. No serving dishes. Only 6 large glasses and many odd wine glasses. No instructions on how to use any of the appliances. Dirty grids that we had to wash to barbecue No sun loungers as seen in the photos. Smelly bathroom drains even after a visit from the plumber and the shower area needs attention re a deep clean. No bedside lamps for the middle bedroom and no hanging space only a set of drawers. These fixes will improve the overall experience especially when staying longer.
